We invite you to enjoy a day dedicated to discovering the culture of olive groves and olive oil, through the perspective and philosophy of an organically managed mountain olive grove, with a special focus on soil regeneration.
You will also learn how to recognise the differences between the various types of olive oil, understand where their health benefits lie and how to identify them, as well as discover many other interesting facts and useful recommendations that will change the way you look at the landscape and the way you buy and consume olive oil.
– The day will begin with deliciuos breakfast at the Era of Cortijo Las Monjas at 9:30 am.
– At 10:30 am, the Introduction to Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tasting Workshop will begin, led by Almudena Martín Torregrosa.
– At 12:00 pm, we will visit the San José Artesano Cooperative in Mondrón. You will be able to see the production process from the reception of the olives to their conversion into oil, filtering, storage and packaging.
– At 1:00 pm, we will visit the Monumental Olive Trees located at the entrance to Mondrón.
